Jennifer Miller-Bender

Jennifer Miller-Bender, also known in the entertainment industry as “Jen Miller,” got her Hollywood start over 22 years ago casting with Executive Producer Al Burton on the sets of Charles in Charge, Win Ben Stein’s Money, The Man Show and the New Lassie.

She worked in casting and with the Matthau Company in the early 1990s as a casting agent, talent scout, management, and raising funds for films. In the late 1990s, she acquired a lease from Dreamworks for the 22nd Floor of the Universal Building where JMCasting and Icon Management remained until 2003.

Jennifer owned Model Search Magazine and scouted talent all over the nation from 1988 until 2000. Model Search was an early casting tool before the Internet, the first of its kind, and fully owned by a woman. Model Search Magazine was the first company to hold international talent competitions and networking parties.

In 2003 to 2008, Jennifer worked with MTSC Productions to cast and co-produce the USA World Showcase (UWS), which aired on NBC affiliates, PAX and ION. Jennifer worked with such talent as Paul Walker, Hillary Duff, Derek Nixon, and Jared Padalecki. She found and developed Gramma Lee and the singing superstar from America’s Got Talent Jackie Evancho. Jennifer raised funds, acquired sponsors, product placement, and advertising for UWS.

Jennifer has worked with all the major studios, including Universal, Warner Brothers, Fox, Disney, and Paramount. She worked with Bill Dance Casting, Central Casting, Aaron Spelling, Al Burton, Ron Howard, Frank Darabont, Scott Mednick, Dennis Quaid, Walter Matthau, Charlie Matthau, Jack Lemmon, Sissy Spacek, Kevin Kline, and many more.
